Ordered heel pads for my CX301’s which were very worn out. The pads shipped quickly.
The pads have a small hole in the underside that matches a pin in the shoe’s sole. Getting the pads to pop onto the pin was not easy - I could not seat the pad completely as there was a very slight gap.
The replacement screws came with some blue anti seize / thread lock on the threads. I installed the screws and torqued them down. I should recheck if there is still any gap between the sole and the replacement pad, otherwise this was a simple and necessary maintenance procedure to extend the life of these wonderful shoes.
