Pairs well with

The CX302 is the ultimate light weight climbing shoe without sacrificing comfort, secure fit or power transfer. Utilizing Clarino microfiber, dual BOA® Li2 dials and Lake’s Handmade CFC 3K carbon fiber sole, you have a cycling slipper that weighs an amazing 195 grams (size 44, not including the insole).

CX/TX Race Last– Featuring a slightly more narrower toe box and tighter heel than the Competition last and less overall volume than the Sport last. Designed for very high-cadence riding with a slimmer fit. The wide version offers 15mm of additional volume at the ball of the foot.

Lake Race 100% Carbon Fiber Sole. Available in a 3-hole cleat pattern. CX302 utilizes Lake’s patent double sole system. The inner sole is a semi flexible carbon fiber platform that allows the foot to have some flexibility at the ball of the foot where the foot tends to swell and typically hot spots or numbness would occur. The inner sole is suspended over the outer rigid carbon sole. This system enables us to use an extremely stiff carbon outsole without sacrificing riding comfort.

Clarino Microfiber and mesh with Carbitex Medial Support panel for a secure fit.

BOA® Fit System Li2 dials. The Li2 dial is the most advanced platform in cycling, offering a precise, micro-adjustable fit in both directions and designed to resist abrasion.

Very light, comfortable fit. Purchased size 50, but really need a 49 which isn’t available. Sturdy heal cup.

New favorite

This is my fifth pair of Lake shoes, and might be my new favorite pair, especially for hot summer riding! As one reviewer has already mentioned, you can actually feel the airflow through the shoe on these 302s! The fit is the same as my 332s, which from a looks standpoint I like better, but not as comfortable in high heat. I’ve worn Sidis for over 30 years, but my go-to on almost all my rides now are my Lakes!

awesome cycling shoes

Best cycling shoe I've ever had and I've tried many brands. Extra wide sizes are a great benefit. Great comfort and support. Love the carbon sole and BOA. Great!!!
