The MX201 Flat strikes the perfect balance for flat pedal riding and all-day walking comfort. The semi-flexible sole offers riders perfect comfort for walking and the stiffness needed for all day cycling. It gives you that perfect balance between performance and comfort. 

Built on our MX Comfort Plus Last, the MX201 has a wider toe box and a unique construction that offers a lightweight and extremely breathable cycling shoe. The generous forefoot platform can also accommodate a multitude of foot shapes. It’s an ideal commuter cycling shoe, giving you a balance between biking and hiking footwear, with the benefit of a super secure BOA closure.

We understand that stability and security are critical for off-road adventure cycling. The MX201 Flat has a comfortable Real Rubber and EVA Enduro Sole, with a semi-rigid Nylon midsole. There’s often a balance required between biking and hike-a-bike when taking to the trails, and the MX201 is designed to give you that necessary stability on all types of mixed terrain.

The MX201 features Lake’s Legendary Fiberglass Injected Nylon sole formula, with an all-new design that has incredible grip on all surfaces, alongside superb durability for all day cycling. It’ll take the knocks, so you don’t have to.

We know how important it is to have the right closure system – especially for technical off-road terrain, where security and stability is critical. We’ve used BOA® Fit System Li2 dials for ultimate adjustability. The Li2 dial is the most advanced platform in cycling, offering a precise, micro-adjustable fit in both directions and designed to resist abrasion.
