Clarino microfiber offers great durability and the suppleness found in leather at a significant weight reduction.

Been using Lake CX332 road shoes for three years and they have been my favorite by far. These do not disappoint. Did a great job of keeping the cold and wind out in low 40f weather. A little stiff in the ankle area due to the height but not terrible. Not like I am racing in them. Worked much better than wrapping my toes with foil and shoe covers. Took the suggestion to go up one size. Will accommodate thicker socks better. It takes a little doing to properly orient the tongue before closing up the shoe, not a deal breaker just something to note. Wish I had not waited so long to get these.

GOOD IN WET OR COLD RIDING

Well made winter shoe. Good up to 50 degrees then hot at least in the sun. These will outlast 10 pair of over shoes.
They feel like galosh's when walking but once on a ride I m very glad to have them and hammer in comfort.
Easy to get in for winter shoes and a luxury to replace over shoes.
Included foot bed is low arch and I wear a nike 12 EEE and a 46 wide here and am comfortable.

Next 30 year Lake shoes

After 30 years I figured it was time for a new pair of Lake winter boots. I knew it might take some back and forth to get the right size and settled on the 11.75/ 45 W pair to replace my size 10 old ones. I wanted slightly larger as my toes were too close to the front on my old ones. Got a 50 mile ride in today upper 30’s. Nice warm feet, improvement in every way. Much easier to get in and out of with the boa vs lace up inner and velcro straps. Well done Lake!

Great cold/ inclement weather shoe

I was forced to replace my 10+ yo lake “ cold weather “ road shoe, due to just plain wearing them out. I called into Lake for help and was given great guidance on replacement fit. I ended up going to a wide shoe ( wear a 44 Reg/D typically) and after a few rides of break in I’m glad I did. The shoes were a little snug at first , but after ~100 miles they have broken in and the fit is great. Ridden in the 40’s with light drizzle and my feet were perfect , even dare I say warm.( I always have cold feet).
