CXZ176 offers incredible performance, stability, warmth and all day comfort. With a sealed upper designed to keep your foot warm against cold wind, the CXZ176 is a great alternative to wearing shoe covers.

Sizing Suggestion: For use with winter weight socks we recommend ordering 1-1.5 size up from your normal Lake Cycling shoe size.

CX/TX Sport – The higher cadence & longer ride times which characterize road cycling require excellent foot control to avoid hot-spots & numbness. With a much closer fit than any of our off-road lasts, our Sport last cradles the foot securely to prevent any unwanted movement. This last features a precisely fitted toe-box, high arch & mid width ball girth.

Road Sport fiberglass injected nylon outsole. Only compatible with 3-bolt style road cleat and pedal systems.

Clarino Microfiber & mesh upper. The CXZ176 features form fitting and durable microfiber with a comfortable and secure BOA® closure. Front 1/2 toe to midfoot features 200gram Thinsulate Insulation to give a comfortable & insulating barrier for increased warmth and cold wind resistance.

BOA® Fit System L6 dial with power strap in the forefoot. The L6 dial offers a precise, micro-adjustable fit, maximum impact protection and durability.

Down to 25°F/-4°C

The uppers are treated with a durable water resistant (DWR) coating that will wear away over time. We recommend reapplying a DWR spray 1-2 times a year for moderate riders and every 2-3 wet rides for daily riders.

Wirklich hochwertiger Schuh der Extraklasse. Aber die Größenangabe stimmt m. E. nicht. Habe den Schuh vorsichtshalber in Gr.44 bestellt obwohl ich lt. Liste 43 bräuchte. Leider immer noch deutlich zu klein. Specialized passt mit 43. Schade, ich glaube, der Schuh ist wirklich super.

unusual sizing,,, otherwise great.

I have two other lake models and use the wide version in both, and size 42.5. There is no half size, so I ordered a size 43. I was surprised to find the shoes tight. Unusable tight. I attribute this to the thick insoles that come with the shoes. I took the Lake insole from my other summer shoes and then I could fit in the winter shoe. It fits correctly with this adjustment. I imagine that I will not reap the benefit of the insulated footbed. If I could exchange with a size 44 - it might be too long? Not sure. I ordered on line... so I did not have the option to try.

Great Cool Weather Shoe

This shoe is great for cool weather riding for someone with wide feet. Have struggled to find shoes that fit my wide feet. This shoe fits the bill. Very comfortable shoe. Temp rating indicates good down to 25 degrees F. I found it comfortable down to high 30s stand alone and low to mid 30s with shoe covers. Depending on whether your feet get cold easily or not, could be good to lower temps than I found comfortable. I used it in the fall and spring time when temps are cold for my early morning rides in the Northeast. Highly recommend this shoe.
