CX/TX Competition Last – With a profile specifically designed for very high-cadence riding & higher pressure, our Competition last features a more curved profile than the Sport last. The main differences include increased toe pitch & heel lift, a tighter heel & a slightly wider ball girth to allow the foot to expand under high pedaling pressures.
Lake Competition 100% Carbon Fiber Sole. Available in a 3-hole cleat pattern.
Fullgrain leather or Clarino Microfiber and NuFoam lining with Carbon fiber support panels, which help to maintain a secure fit while adding foot stability. The upper is segmented into 6 independent zones for the most flexible fit to accommodate narrow or wide feet as well as high instep and low instep feet. The moldable heel counter doubles the heel hold for a secure fit. Carbitex support panels offer additional support to enhance the closure.
BOA® Fit System Li2 dials. The Li2 dial is the most advanced platform in cycling, offering a precise, micro-adjustable fit in both directions and designed to resist abrasion.

Didn’t fit, way too tight. Had to send them back.
Muchas gracias LAKE
Not much to say other than these shoes are by far the most comfortable and functional cycling shoes I’ve had. I look forward to my rides in them whereas before I always dreaded the ride because of my old Giro shoes. Thank you for making these.
I have the CX241's and love them. Because of the enhancements I wanted to try the CX242's And they're even better. I have incredibly flat feet and know longer have any foot discomfort at all. I do use insoles and use furniture pads which I place on the bottom side of the insoles to help support my metatarsal.
These cycling shoes are terrific. If you have very, very weird feet and super super flat, I highly recommend getting the CX242's.
